The image is from Tehran, but let´s not be fool, this could be anywhere in the world. This could be right here. These friendly guys are not thieves or mercenaries, they are government employees.

Where the monsters come from, Martina?

This is an illustration I presented to the Illustration contest of the city of Albacete (Spain). First one is the full image and the rest are details. A little girl (Martina) explains to us how frightening monsters are created by extrange machines inside our heads.

- No, no. I´ve been an idiot since I was born.
- Oh, excuse me sir.
- No worries...

Ivanovich

If any translation is possible, maybe it would be something like this:

Ivanovich, the great champion... ...of chess

Ivanovich: Castle.
Chess-player: My god!!

Characters for children, some ideas

One is coloured by computer, the other is original handmade :-P

Something old, something new...

This is a sketch i made recently, when I was at Copenhagen

I found this somewhere. It´s a postcard I made for christmas. At Spain the presents are brought by three magicians from the far East, not by Santa (Claus). Well, sometimes, when the three magicians are very bussy, he also comes around...

Lost

In Spain it is said (to children) that all babies are brought from Paris by a stork

Last day at the studio

I made this illustration as a present for the people of TRIKK 17. They were so good to me, and I wanted to say thanks...

Goodbye Hamburg

Before we left the city, Pat and me left a trace...

Dr.Brumm

This is Dr. Brumm, a character by Daniel Napp. At the moment, all of us at Trikk17 are envolved in this new project, building the sets, props and puppets for the trailer. Dr. Brumm´s best friend is a goldfish called Potwal and their funny stories can be read in many books that the author has illustrated with great watercolours. Here are a volumes sketch (by the athor), a flyer I did for the studio showing the project in some festivals and a table-tennis-table I also build for a first photo-session.

Zeb and Gunter

This is a test I've made at the studio, checkin' out the possibilities of the characters and the animation. It is so simple, but maybe in a few time you'll see them talking!!

Please, let me know if you can´t see the video or it´s taking too long...thank you!
